Benidorm
has two main crescent shaped beaches; Poniente to the West and Levante to the East, both have golden sand that is always well
groomed and clean. These are separated by a small beach in a sheltered bay that is overlooked by a rocky protrusion known
as 'el Balcon del Mediterraneo'. This is a fantastic vantage point with fantastic views.
|
The Levante beach is in the newer part of Benidorm and the palm tree promenade is lined with terraced restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. At the far end
of the beach there are a variety of water sports available, including; The inflatable banana ride, water skiing and surfboard
sailing.

Poniente beach is on the other side of ‘el Balcon’,
and is often less busy than Levante as it is a little further away from the town centre. The Poniente is in an excellent position
for sunbathers as it avoids the shade all day long, and enjoys sunshine up to 8.30pm in the evening.
