The Surrounding Area

Costa Blanca is the area about halfway down Spain’s eastern coast, bounded by the coastline from Denia in the North, to El Majón in the South, as well as the inland reaches of the Alicante region bordered by Costa de Valencia and Costa Calida.

The area is very popular with British and international visitors thanks to the highly developed infrastructure of seaside hotels, restaurants, road and rail systems, entertainment and golf courses. This has been driven primarily by Alicante airport providing a gateway into Benidorm for the package holiday maker.

However the region has much more than tourist resorts and amazing beaches on the Costa Blanca Coast; there is plenty to explore just a little way inland, from ancient monuments and Roman remains, to beautiful natural parks and scenic mountain views.

The area has managed to retain a distinct Spanish feel, especially in some of the smaller fishing villages and countryside towns, all within easy reach of the Apartment for those that want to sample unspoilt Spain.
